According to reports, Manchester City are set to rival Manchester United’s move for Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.
The Daily Star claim Pep Guardiola has identified the 25-year-old playmaker as the ideal addition to his star-studded squad.
The Citizens are weighing up making a £70million bid for the player when the transfer window opens in January.

Grealish – who has chipped in with five goals and six assists in eight games – is tied down at Villa Park until 2025 after signing a new deal.
Meanwhile, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be keen to launch a fresh bid for the player after his impressive start to the season.
Grealish might opt to stay at Villa Park to make England’s Euro 2020 rather than make a winter move.
It remains to be seen if the club can beat City to the signing of the player.
