Southampton star, Ryan Bertrand, has said that stopping Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes will be key to his side succeeding when they face Manchester United at the end of November.
Southampton have made a great start to the new season, after picking up five wins out of eight, while United have had a rather indifferent one.
Both teams will be meeting after the international break, and Bertrand believes nullifying two of United’s biggest threats is important if they want to win.
Speaking to Stretty News, the former Chelsea man said, “Manchester United are a great club with great individuals, it will be a tough game for us.
“They have shown some inconsistency but when they get it right they have had some amazing results.
“The threat on the counter is their biggest threat.
“They have many great individuals, [Marcus] Rashford, [Bruno] Fernandes seem to be their top performers so far.”
Rashford has been impressive this season, with 7 goals across all competitions, while Fernandes has 6.
If both players are available for the clash, we sure will expect them to cause Southampton lots of troubles.
