Manchester United centre back, Victor Lindelof, has opened up on his struggles with a niggling back injury.
The Sweden international missed United’s match away at turkey, against Istanbul Bakasehir last week, but was able to make it in time for the match against Everton on Saturday.
He has since recovered from the challenge, but when asked to speak about it in a recent interview, he told Footballskanalen: “The back feels okay. I’ve been having problems for a few weeks.
“I’ve struggled through the matches there’s been. It’s nice that I got a few days off now where there has only been treatment and I really tried to rest.
“It felt good in training today. Hopefully there should be no problems. If they want me to play, I will try to play and see how it feels. Then after that we will see how the back will be.”
Lindelof has been far from his usual best this season, but the defender has definitely been passionate about his duties, and that is something we can all admire.
