Borrusia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has dismissed claims his failed move to Manchmester United is the reason behind his poor start to the season.
Manchester United were unable to meet the German side’s demands for a possible transfer to happen in the summer.
The 20-year-old hasn’t been at his best since then, but the England international has cleared the air saying his dip in form has nothing to do with his failed move to Old Trafford.
“Nah, I don’t think so,” Jadon Sancho told ITV Sport on Thursday when asked if his mixed start to the season was caused by a failed transfer to Man United in the summer.
“I feel like every player has a little dip in their career, and I feel I’m going through that at the moment. It is just how I’m bouncing back and I am just happy to have managers who have faith in and keep sight of me.”
Sancho is yet to score a single goal in the Bundesliga after six appearances this term.
