Manchester United are reportedly still interested in signing Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig, despite the humiliating defeat the defender suffered with his teammates at Old United.
Upamecano has often been linked with United, with coach, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer said to be an admirer of the Frenchman.
The 21 year old was part of the Leipzig team that visited Old Trafford and received a 5-0 thrashing, with Marcus Rashford scoring a hat-trick, after coming on in the second half.
But reports say the result and performance will not deter United from going after the player, with Solskjaer keen to bolster his side defensively.
Another potential addition is Kalidou Koulibaly, who has previously been linked with a move to Old Trafford as well.
The Senegalese was close to sealing a switch to Manchester City during the summer transfer window, but the deal collapsed, and United may now make an offer for him.
