Premier League broadcasters’ TV chiefs have reportedly been left surprised by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recent rant about Manchester United’s fixture schedule.
After United’s 3-1 victory against Everton last week, Solskjaer went on a rant about how badly organized United’s fixtures are, and how the club has been set up to fail.
But according to a report by Daily Mail, TV broadcasters bosses at Sky Sports and BT Sport were left bemused by the comment’s, seeing as United have been aware of their schedule since before the season began.
The report adds that they believe Solskjaer’s rant was meant to create a ‘siege’ mentality to the player’s, because even when changes are made to fixtures, clubs are also aware.
Premier League bosses are also said to be gearing up for more criticisms from Solskjaer, since United will be facing similar fixture schedules in the future, especially during the festivity period.
