Mourinho names all time best 11, but no United player makes the list

Tottenham manager, José Mourinho, has named his all time favourite eleven, and surprisingly, no Manchester United player made the cut.

Mourinho was appointed United manager in 2016, after parting ways with Chelsea, following a disappointing second season, during his second stint with the West London club.

The Portuguese also worked with superstars like Paul Pogba, David De Gea and Alexis Sanchez, before leaving, yet none of these players have been included in his favourite eleven of all time.

Instead, Mourinho has gone for most of the players he worked with while at Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan; in fact, 8 of them are from his former Chelsea side, while only Mesuit Ozil, Cristiano Ronaldo and Javier Zanetti are from his spells with other teams.

The list also includes the likes of Petr Cech, William Gallas, Ricardo Carvalho, John Terry, Claude Makalele, Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Eden Hazard.

Like we said, it’s a bit of a surprise that no Man United player makes the list, but considering he reportedly fell out with the team before his sack, it probably makes sense.
