According to reports, Manchester United will not allow Victor Lindelof join the Sweden squad for the upcoming international against Denmark.
The player will not play any part in his country’s games during the international break amid concerns over a mutated strain of coronavirus being spread from mink farms in Denmark.
Meanwhile, The UK has also imposed severe restrictions on Denmark, following the outbreak which has infected 12 people already.
A statement from the Swedish FA read: “Sweden’s five national team players from England and Scotland will not be available in the international training match against Denmark due to quarantine rules. Instead, the players will join the national team gathering in Stockholm after the match against Denmark.”
