Why Manchester United’s win at Everton meant everything to Solskjaer

Manchester United returned to winning ways against Everton on Saturday, with a stunning 3-1 victory.

The victory was a great one considering the opposition we faced, but what made it even more important were a few other vital factors.

One of them was the fact that it was David De Gea’s birthday, and a loss would have been a bad way to celebrate for the Spaniard.

The main factor is that Olé Gunnar Solskjaer was under massive pressure on the job, and the way things looked, perhaps one more loss would have put him in an even more precarious position.

Finally, the other reason the win was important is that having lost back to back matches for the first time this season, the lads needed a mental lift, and a win was the only thing that could have given them that.

In all, we’re excited for the win, and we hope it continues for the team.
