England boss snubs Manchester United striker

For the second time in the last couple of weeks, Manchester United forward, Mason Greenwood, has been left out of England’s squad for the upcoming fixtures in the next international break.

Gareth Southgate announced his squad for the games against the Republic of Ireland, Iceland and Belgium recently, and the teenager’s name was conspicuously omitted again.

The development comes weeks after the 18 year old was said to have invited women into the England national team hotel, thereby violating Covid-19 safety guidelines.

The good news, however, is that other United players like Dean Henderson, Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford have all been called up for the fixtures.
