Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies has given a glowing remark on Manchester United managerial target Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine has been out of work since being sacked by Spurs in November 2019, and was replaced by former United boss Jose Mourinho, who remains in charge in north London.
With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in immense pressure at Old Trafford after a mixed start to the season, the club have made an approach to Pochettino to replace the Norwegian at Old Trafford as reported by Manchester Evening News.
Pochettino has been constantly linked with the with the United job, and speculation has only intensified in recent days.
Spurs left-back Davies has rated the Argentine as a top-class manager and has revealed what the Red Devils will achieve with him being in charge.
“Under Poch we very much had our style of play and it was just the high press, high intensity,” Davies told talkSPORT.
“Now I think we’re a bit more tactical, we’re a bit more aware of what we’re coming up against.
“We have a game plan for each game.”
