Manchester United boss, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer, has revealed that new signing, Facundo Pellistri needs to spend more time with the U-23s before he’s included in the senior team.
The talented teenager recently played in the youth teams 2-1 win over Everton, where he impressed, and Solskjaer is excited for his future.
Speaking about the 18-year-old with the official Man United website recently, the Norwegian said, “He’s a young boy coming over and it’s all new for him.
“He’ll need a few games in the Reserves, of course, to try to find his feet in a new country.
“It’s been very positive so far and he’s someone we’ll be patient with and we’ll give him time to settle in and get used to us. You’ll see him in the Reserves, probably in the next game.”
Pellistri is also expected to feature in the U-23s upcoming match against Brighton this weekend, and hopefully, he can carry on with the impressive displays.
