Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given an injury update on Manchester United player Jesse Lingard ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League game against Istanbul Basaksehir.
The Norwegian has disclosed that the midfielder is recovering well from his injury issue, but won’t be part of the travelling team to face Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir. He also adds that there are no fresh injury concerns.
In the pre-match press conference ahead of facing Istanbul Basaksehir, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Apart from being a bit flat and disappointed [after the Arsenal defeat], as you’d expect, there are no more injuries and I think the squad will look similar again.
“Jesse [Lingard] has trained today [Monday] but is not travelling and of course we’ve had a few injuries before. We are travelling with a strong squad.”
