Wales manager, Ryan Giggs, is set to miss his country’s upcoming games during the international break, the Wales FA have confirmed.

This comes after the Manchester United legend was arrested on allegations of domestic violence against his girlfriend, Kate Greville.

A statement from the Welsh FA on the matter said, “The Football Association of Wales and Ryan Giggs have mutually agreed that he will not be involved in the upcoming international camp. Robert Page, with Ryan’s support, will take charge for the next three matches against the USA, Republic of Ireland and Finland supported by Albert Stuivenberg.”

Giggs has denied the allegations, and has as expected, pledged to show cooperation and support for the police as they investigate the matter.

But by implication, the former footballer could face the axe if he’s found guilty of the allegations.

We hope he’s innocent in the end, and we wish him well!
