Manchester United forward, Mason Greenwood is set to be recalled to the England national team, after falling out with manager, Gareth Southgate weeks ago.
The teenager was dropped from the national team, after violating Covid-19 safety guidelines, by inviting women to the team hotel, with Manchester City star, Phil Foden.
But The Athletic reports that Southgate is considering recalling Greenwood and Foden, who were ignored for the Three Lions’ matches during the last international break.
England is set to face the Republic of Ireland in a friendly in the coming days, with UEFA Nations League matches against Belgium and Iceland also coming up for them, and Greenwood is believed to be in Southgate’s plans.
Greenwood has been in the eye of the storm in recent weeks, after receiving massive criticisms from the media, but he has since moved on from them all, and his form for United is getting better.
