Harry Maguire hits back at Manchester United legend Roy Keane

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has responded to claims by club legend Roy Keane that this current United squad lacks leaders.

The former United captain also warned after our 1-0 loss against Arsenal that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could lose his job because of his players.

However, Maguire insists there are leaders all around him at the club, including among the players and the staff as well.

When asked about Roy Keane’s comments on Sunday about how Man United’s squad lacks proper leaders, Harry Maguire said: “I haven’t seen his comments.

“But we don’t look at what’s happening, especially after a negative result, we don’t bring the negativity into the place, we stay positive.

“And I can say, for sure, there are a lot of leaders in this squad. I’m the captain, I’ve got a lot of leadership around me as well, staff and players. So, for sure, there are a lot of leaders in this squad.”

Meanwhile, Maguire is eager for the team to bounce back from our defeat against the Gunner as we prepare to face Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League.

  1. Pogba is fond of slowing down the pace of counter attacks! His style has robbed ManU of goals! The manager should correct him.
