Solskjaer gives verdict on Manchester United’s transfer business

Despite criticisms aimed at the club’s summer transfer business, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed satisfaction with the players available to him.

“I think we’ve signed well, I’m very happy with the signings we’ve made, I think all of them have made an impact,” said Solskjaer.

“They are players we’ve targeted for a little while and I’m happy with them.

“You want competition for places and you want players to know that there’s someone who can take my place.

“And you want players who can cope with that pressure, which you have to do if you’re part of Man United.

“Alex Telles played really well in Paris and I think Luke Shaw has also played really well the last few games, that’s the competition you want.”

  1. Solskjaer seems not to have got his bearing right. ManU has got quality players. The problem is in the selection!
