Donny van de Beek may not have started as often as he and many would like this season, but every time he has, the Dutchman has impressed.
The 23 year old made his first start for Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, and was able to put on an eye-catching performance.
van de Beek played for just 70 minutes, but throughout his stay on the pitch, he proved influential for Olé Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
The former Ajax man was also a constant threat in midfield, as he managed to cover an incredible 10 kilometres within that period.
If broken down further, this translates to 143.7 metres per minute, and it makes it all the more impressive.
After failing to play for United in the last few matches, it was important that van de Beek finally got his chance, but the midfielder will be hoping to get more minutes, with the Red Devils facing Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal on Sunday.
