Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has issued an update on the medical condition of summer signing Alex Telles after the Brazilian tested positive for coronavirus.

Speaking about the unavailable players for Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Alex won’t be ready, no, so apart from that I would think everyone else looks like they could be involved.”

The Norwegian also spoke about Sergio Romero and Phil Jones, both now are surplus to requirements at the club, and explained their situations:

“Well, Sergio [Romero] has just come back into training this week, so he’s started his pre-season work and is working to get to his peak fitness with the goalkeepers.

“Phil has been injured and had an operation and working really hard to be back, hopefully he’ll get fit in December, when you’re injured you can’t get into the squad, he’s working really diligently and he’ll be coming back soon.”

Brazilian left-back Alex Telles is unlikely to return after the International break, while Romero or Jones are not certain to any receive any game time this season.
