Manchester United manager, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed delight with his side’s performances in their last two UEFA Champions League matches, and his intention to make sure the good form continues.
The Red Devils surprised pundits by beating Paris Saint-Germain in their backyard, before drubbing RB Leipzig 5-0 last night.
And Solskjaer, who has made a few tactical changes, including a formation and manpower switch, is happy with the way things are going.
Speaking to the media after the 5-0 win, the Norwegian said, “We’ve played against two very good teams now in Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain, two difficult games, and the quality is absolutely fantastic.
“If we focus on doing the same in the next job, and the next job and the next job after that, then who knows how far we can go. If you can work and work then you will get your rewards.
“The squad is good and adaptable and it gives us options to play different formations. I’m very pleased at the moment.”
United have a chance to extend their hold on top of group H, by winning their next two matches against Istanbul Bakasehir in the UEFA Champions League.
If that happens, they will have 12 points from 4 matches.
