Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is delighted and happy with the amount of depth Manchester United has in midfield at the moment.
In recent weeks, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has rotated his midfield players, giving room for players to get more rest, with the likes of Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek and even Bruno Fernandes taking turns to sit on the bench.
Scott McTominay has been used often by the coach these days, alongside Fred, and they have provided the team with more solidity and width.
The midfielder had a chat with BT Sport recently, and when asked to share his thoughts on the dynamism of United’s current midfield, he said, “We’ve got a really good balance to the team at the moment and we’re all pulling in the right direction.
“In terms of midfield options, everybody knows we’re so strong and right up there with the best in the world for strength in depth.
“We’ve got Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Donny van de Beek, Bruno Fernandes, myself and Fred… there’s countless options.
“Every team needs that balance. You need fluidity going forward but you also need that stable base from where you can start to build from.”
