Manchester United Solskjaer has claimed the club’s Champions League clash against RB Leipzig will afford him the chance to have a close look at transfer target Dayot Upamecano. However, the Norwegian insists it’s normal for good players to be linked with the club.
Recent report from the Times has revealed the Red Devils will look to seal a deal for the French defender next summer.
When asked about facing club target Dayot Upamecano in the Champions League encounter against RB Leipzig, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “There’s always rumours & speculation about good players for Manchester United.
“But since he’s playing against us, I know he’s a very good player so we can see him close up tomorrow.”
