Man United coaching staff left impressed with Cavani after just a week in training

Manchester United new boy, Edinson Cavani appears to be doing a lot of things right in his first month at the club.

According to The Athletic, the Uruguayan has been very impressive in training, so much that the coaching staff are happy with him, despite this only being his first week.

Cavani’s work rate has been top notch, and there’s a general air of positivity at the club as to what he will bring to the table eventually when he’s back to full fitness.

The 33 year old made his debut for the Red Devils against Chelsea, after coming on in the 60th minute, and made an immediate impact, with a sharp shot to Édouard Mendy’s side netting, with just his first touch.

Meanwhile, Fred has hailed the club’s signing of Edinson Cavani and also feels the addition of the Uruguayan will help improve the other attackers at the club.

Speaking to Manchester United’s official website, Fred said: “Edinson Cavani is older, more experienced [than our other strikers].

“I’m sure that Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial will learn from him in that position.”
