Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has won the Prode of Britain award alongside Sir Tom Moore for their charity works in helping those affected by coronavirus pandemic during the lockdown.
The England striker has been honoured and celebrated for his work towards eliminating child food poverty in the UK, and upon receiving his award, the 22-year-old said: “No way! Ultimately no kids should miss meals. For me, that should be just standard no matter where you come from.”
Meanhwhile, Sir Tom Moore, on the other hand, received an award for his amazing campaign to raise a staggering £33m for NHS workers.
Interestingly, former Red Devil David Beckham was among those who presented the awards.
