Sheffield United appear set to make another loan signing from Manchester United, after failing to extend Dean Henderson’s stay at Bramall Lane.
According to The Sun, Chris Wilder’s side are looking to shore up their defence with United defender, Marcos Rojo, after making one of their worst starts to a league season.
It’s been six games now, and the Blades have picked up just one point, with the 2-1 loss to Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, making matters worse.
Wilder is reportedly hoping to sign Rojo on a loan deal in January, with the hope that things will improve, especially with Jack O’Connell injured and unavailable.
The Argentine, who recently returned from a loan spell with Estudiantes in his home country isn’t part of Olé’s plans in the Premier League, having not featured yet, although his name has been included in United’s UEFA Champions League squad.
It remains to be seen if he’ll be allowed to leave, but perhaps if Sheffield United are convincing enough, an agreement could be reached.
