It appears Mason Greenwood has many people on his side than he would have expected.
The Manchester United youngster has been facing a hard time from the British media, after sneaking in women to the team hotel while on international duty with England weeks ago, with untrue stories of ill-behaviour appearing in the news about him more often than not.
One of the latest stories on the media about Greenwood was that Man United were ‘frustrated’ with his ‘lack of punctuality’ to training, and they even met to discuss it with him.
But the boss hasn’t only denied and refuted the claims, he has also showered praise on the 18 year old’s behaviour.
Greenwood took to his Instagram recently to make a post about the untrue stories, and Aston Villa star Jack Grealish offered his support to him.
The Aston Villa captain, who has been linked with a move to Man United, wrote in support of his countrymen, “My bruddddaaaa the [goat emoji] ignore everyone [double love heart emoji]”
The message was in no doubt a timely one, as Greenwood is in a moment of his career when he needs a lot of love and support.
The England forward played as a substitute against Chelsea on Saturday, even though he didn’t score.
