Former Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has been branded a scam for his poor display in Nice’s defeat against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League.
The Frenchman joined Nice from Everton at the end of last season in a cut-price deal.
Popular French pundit Pierre Menes said on Canal+: “And then there is the Schneiderlin file.
“The former Southampton player has all the contours of a scam. This player loses too many balls – it is due to him who loses it on the third goal of Bayer (Leverkusen in the Europa League) – and never makes a gain of five metres for the team.
“Honestly, I am very skeptical about his long-term performance…”
The French side lost 6-2 to the German side in what was a one-sided encounter.
