Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has described Manchester United as a very good team, and he expects a serious match-up when they play his side on Saturday.
The Red Devils have bounced back from two shock defeats in their opening three league matches, to win 4-0 at Newcastle and 2-1 away against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League, and the Chelsea boss is wary of the danger they could pose.
Speaking ahead of the game in his pre-match conference, the Chelsea legend said of United, “We can talk about certain games where big teams have conceded a lot of goals, or there have been big turnarounds in games, but I’m not interested in that.
“Man United are a very good team, we played them enough last year to know that, and I’m not concerned with what might have happened in games before.
The Chelsea boss added: “We played them a lot last year. They are a quality team with quality individuals and quality organisation, and we saw that in Paris in midweek.
“Everything is very close in the league at the moment, so it’s an opportunity to get some hard-earned points, but it will be very tough.”
Chelsea are expected to field their strongest players tomorrow, with the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Thiago Silva and Christian Pulisic all back to the side.
The match surely promises to be a great watch, as the Red Devils will be desperate to avoid suffering the same fate they did with Spurs.
