‘They have conceded 11 goals in three games’— Newcastle striker throws jibe at Man United’s defence

Newcastle United striker, Callum Wilson appears to be relishing the chance to go up against Manchester United’s defenders, as the two clubs play on Saturday.

United have let in 11 goals in just 3 matches this season, including 3 against Crystal Palace, 2 against Brighton and 6 against Tottenham Hotspur, and Wilson believes he could exploit the weakness in our defence.

Speaking ahead of the match, the 28 year old said: “I see they have conceded 11 goals in three games, so you take confidence from that.

“It could be a case that when they got back together they were a little bit shaky and a little bit nervous after their last performance.

“I’ve been around working with the squad and there were a lot here who are probably going to play.”

Wilson currently has 4 goals in 4 Premier League matches for The Magpies, after sealing a £20 million move from Bournemouth, so the lads must be wary of the danger he poses.
