Manchester United boss, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed his deadline day buy, Facundo Pellistri is an exciting player, who possesses some qualities the team currently do not have.
The Norwegian made this known while speaking recently, ahead of United’s clash with Newcastle on Saturday.
Solskjaer also explained that although the 18 year old may not be immediately thrown into the starting lineup, he will be helped to grow and eventually will be integrated.
He told the official Man United website: “He’s a young boy coming from Uruguay.
“He’s a signing in the tradition of what we do here which is to bring young players in and let them grow and develop and become the player they can be.
“Of course we’ll give him time. He’s more one for the future than now, but he’s exciting and he’s shown some things in training that we don’t really have here.
“I’m looking forward to helping him develop and helping him settle.”
Pellistri himself has revealed he is eager to play for United, and has shown off photos of himself in a United jersey on his social media multiple times.
While he was important and influential for Penarol before his switch, United is a bigger club, and the Premier League is a tougher league, so he will definitely be needing time to adapt.
