According to reports, Manchester United have opened discussions with Barcelona over the possibility of a loan deal for winger Ousmane Dembele.
The club is keen on signing a winger to bolster manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad ahead of transfer deadline day on October 5.
The Frenchman is viewed as an alternative to Jadon Sancho, along with Watford’s Ismaila Sarr, Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic and free agent Edinson Cavani.
His injury record is a huge threat to the deal with the player restricted to just 75 appearances in all competitions since joining Barcelona in 2017.
The 23-year-old joined Barcelona for a then club-record deal from Borussia Dortmund for €105m (£95.75m) in August 2017.
