Inzaghi confirms move for Manchester United player. Solskjaer happy to let him leave

Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi has expressed his delight on the possibility of working with Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira who is on the verge of joining his side on loan.

He is optimistic the Brazilian will add quality to his side and give a helping hand to his team.

Speaking to TMW, Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi said: “I know him, he is a quality player who can give us a big helping hand.

“I don’t want to talk too much about players who haven’t signed yet — we’ll see if Andreas Pereira arrives or not.”

Pereira is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford with the recent signings of Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek. He has failed to play a single minute of club football this season.

The Brazilian will move to Lazio on a season-long loan with a £24 million option to buy. The 22-year-old’s salary will be jointly-paid by both clubs.
