Manchester United are reportedly closing in on their second signing of the season, as Barcelona star, Ousmane Dembele is set to join on a permanent basis.
This is according to renowned and respected Spanish reporter Francesc Aguilar from Mundo Deportivo, who claims the Spanish giants are willing to sanction a sale for the Frenchman for a fee between £47 million and £54 million.
Barcelona have an interest in Lyon forward, Memphis Depay, and they are trying to raise funds for his signing, hence their keenness to sell Dembele.
Talks are believed to have already begun between United and the player’s representatives, with Ed Woodward said to be the man behind it all.
But if the deal will happen, it could cost United up to £68 million, plus bonuses, so a loan deal, with an option to buy next summer is the preferred option for now.
