According to Evening Standard, Manchester United’s sale of midfielder Andreas Pereira’s to Lazio is set to spark a summer clear-out at the club for players who are surplus to requirements.
The club is willing to allow players leave the club as we look to raise funds for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to bring in his transfer targets before the transfer window closes.
Spanish midfielder Juan Mata is also attracting interest from Lazio as they see him as an alternative to former Manchester City playmaker David Silva who they missed out on.
The likes of Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones could all leave before the end of the transfer window if the club receives the right offer for them.
Sergio Romero is also expected to leave the club as he doesn’t want to be 3rd choice goalkeeper, while full-back Diogo Dalot will make an exit as he is not part of Solskjaer’s plans for the season.
