United now have more than 10,000 goals across all competitions since the club came into existence.
The Red Devils scored three against Brighton And Hove Albion on Saturday, to snatch our first points in the ongoing campaign, with contributions from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.
But it was Marcus Rashford, who got the iconic 10,000th goal for United, after finishing an unstoppable counter attack.
Bruno Fernandes would also go on to add one courtesy of penalty in the 99th minute, to cap off a memorable afternoon for Olé Gunnar Solskjaer and his men.
Of course, Rashford has done well for United so far, but he’s still a long way off goals wise, if he wants to truly be up there with the greatest.
For now, Wayne Rooney’s 253 goals is the standard for all United forwards, as it remains the highest by any player in their history.
But with prolific players like Rashford and Mason Greenwood still very young, there’s no denying the feat can be surpassed.
