According to reports, Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez had a special clause in his Barcelona contract that prevented him from joining Manchester United.

The La Liga giants named certain clubs the former Liverpool player couldn’t join if he was to leave the Camp Nou.

The Catalan giants listed Real Madrid, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.

Luis Suarez has officially left Barcelona for domestic rivals Atletico Madrid.

It should be noted Manchester United were never interested in signing the striker especially after his racist incident with Manchester United legend Patrice Evra.
