De Gea or Henderson? Solskjaer’s first-choice goalkeeper for the season has been revealed

According to former Manchester United player Luke Chadwick, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won’t drop David de Gea from the starting XI in favour of Dean Henderson.

When asked about who may start in goal against Crystal Palace, Luke Chadwick told CaughtOffside: “I think [David] De Gea will start, but I think [Dean] Henderson coming back is a good move.

“Henderson has spoken a lot about being desperate to play and that shows great confidence.

“I will say De Gea’s had a tough couple of years but what he’s produced at the club has been brilliant, I can’t imagine Ole just dropping him and bringing Henderson straight in.”

Chadwick is also of the opinion that Henderson won’t find it easy at the top level playing for Manchester United like he did at Sheffield United.
