The sour relationship between Wales international, Gareth Bale and Real Madrid seems to be further deteriorating, as the Spanish giants are said to now be seeking a miracle to sell him.

According to Spanish news outlet, Marca, Madrid are very desperate to offload Gareth Bale from their wage bill, they’re now in fact, praying Manchester United make an offer for him.

The report adds that Madrid consider United their last hope of getting rid of Bale, who has fallen out of favour with the club’s hierarchicy.

The player himself is reported to be willing to sit out the remaining months of his contract, but Zinedine Zidane’s side want to make sure he is no longer their problem.

The problem with Bale’s situation, however, is that, only a few clubs can afford his weekly £600k salary, although Madrid are said to be open to the idea of helping pay half of it just to see him leave.

Manchester United and Tottenham are the two clubs said to be keen on signing Bale, although the Red Devils view him more as a backup target, should they fail to sign Jadon Sancho this summer.
