Journalist confirms Man United’s move for midfielder from Spanish club

Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a shock bid for Valencia midfielder, Uros Racic.

According to reports in Spain, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer side are considering making a £28 million bid for the 22 year old, who has failed to settle at Valencia.

Racic joined the Spanish side in 2017, but has not quite settled in at the club, and could be open to leaving for a different challenge.

He has a £92 million release clause in his contract, but United are hopeful Valencia will accept their offer, due to their ongoing financial issues.

Meanwhile, Valencia based journalist, Hector Gomez, has confirmed United’s interest in Racic, although he denied claims a bid has been tabled for the Serbian.

Taking to his Twitter recently, the journalist wrote, ‘Racic’s camp confirm interest from Manchester United for the player but NOT the €30m offer. Let’s see if there really is a final offer or if it only remains as interest’.

Racic is a box to box midfielder, who can shoot with both his feet, but considering the array of talent in United’s midfield, it isn’t clear whether Solskjaer would really be going for the player.
