FourFourTwo have released their annual ranking of the best-paid footballers, and this year’s edition shows three Manchester United players are on the 14 man list.
David De Gea, Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez are all on the list, even though the Chilean only recently left to join Inter Milan on a permanent basis. His earnings at the time was as a Manchester United player.
The best placed Red Devil on the list is Pogba(8), who made a whooping £21.5 million throughout the last football year.
Pogba is followed by De Gea, who is placed at number 11 on the list, after making £19.4 million in the period under review.
Alexis Sanchez (12), is the third player who is affiliated to United on list, after making £19.3 million in the same period.
Also on the list are heavyweights like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, who occupy number one and two, in that order, after making £79.4 million and £78.7 million.
