The Jadon Sancho deal seems to have more obstacles stopping it from happening than we realise.
According to ESPN, part of the reason the deal hasn’t been successful is because Manchester United haven’t yet agreed personal terms and agent fees with the player and his representatives.
Despite Borussia Dortmund’s insistence on wanting nothing less than £108 million for Sancho, they have given the green light for United to speak to the player and his agent.
However, United, and the player and his agents are still miles apart from agreeing on what is ideal for all parties.
Apparently, Sancho’s agent is asking for a very high fee, which United have been reluctant to pay.
What this means is that for now, an agreement is yet to be reached, but as reported by the outlet, there’s still hope for a deal to happen, despite Dortmund’s statements last week.
