Here are some dates every Man United fan should mark on their calendars, ahead of next season

The 2019/20 season ended for United only a few days ago, but 2020/21 is already knocking.

Fans will be keen to see United return to action in some weeks time, as they try to compete for some silverware on different fronts.

One of the most important dates for the upcoming season will be September 19, when United begin their Premier League campaign with a match against Crystal Palace.

OlĂ© Gunnar Solskjaer’s team would have started on September 12 like everyone else, but their extended involvement in the Europa League means they get to rest for an extra week, before they return to action.

Another important date for United is September 16, when the third round draws for the Carabao Cup will take place. And then, September 29/30, when the fourth round draws happen.

October 1 will come with the group stage draws of the UEFA Champions League, which is a big deal, as everyone would be keen to see who United play, after missing the competition for two seasons.

Transfer deadline day across Europe is on October 5, and 16 in England. Fans will be interested in seeing who comes or goes from the club before or on these days too.

Finally, December 26 is boxing day, which usually comes with some excitement, including a Premier League match for United, and of course, we’d be having an away clash against Leicester City.

All of these dates are important, and we urge you to set a reminder, as they’re days we expect to come with a special feeling for anyone who loves football, and is rooting for Manchester United.
