Ex-Chelsea defender, Jason Cundy, has said he doesn’t believe Neymar Jr has the quality to fit in at Manchester United.

The Brazilian is regarded as one of the best players on the planet, based on individual brilliance, but Cundy, while speaking recently, revealed he believes the Paris Saint-Germain star is overrated.

He’s quoted by talkSPORT as saying, “Is he [Neymar] a wonderful footballer? Yes. Is he overrated? Without question!”

“Does he improve Liverpool? Mbappe does, but I’m not sure Neymar does. I’d probably have Salah over Neymar. I honestly don’t think he’d get in Manchester United’s front-three either.”

Neymar was rumoured to be a possible summer acquisition for United, after reports suggested he would be offered to the Red Devils due to Barcelona’s inability to afford him, but it is increasingly looking unlikely that will happen, as the Brazilian seems to be enjoying his time at PSG these days, and United won’t be keen on such an extravagant deal.
