Manchester United players, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Dean Henderson, have been left in disappointment, after losing out on the ‘Young Player Of The Season’ award.
The trio, and on-loan goalkeeper Dean Henderson, were shortlisted for the award, after impressing for Man United and Sheffield United last season.
However, Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, has clinched the title, in what was its maiden edition.
The Liverpool full-back had a successful season, after providing 13 assists, as the Reds won their first trophy in more than three decades.
Also nominated for the award were Christian Pulisic (Chelsea), Mason Mount (Chelsea) and Jack Grealish (Aston Villa).
