Borussia Dortmund CEO, Hans-Joachim Watzke, has re-echoed the stance of the club on the future of summer transfer window hot cake, Jadon Sancho, saying the player will not be leaving.
Watzke made this known, recently, as he was asked by the media, to address the situation of things with the 20 year old.
In his words, “We are Westphalians.
“To us, the word definite means definite. Jadon will play with us for the 2020/21 season. There’s no room for interpretation.”
Watzke’s comments come after Dortmund’s sporting director, Michael Zorc, said a similar thing, with the club’s head of licensed player division, Sebastian Kehl, also recently reiterating they’re happy Sancho is staying.
Manchester United have now been forced to look elsewhere for a Sancho replacement, with Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele rumoured to be in the running.
