Ahead of Manchester United’s Europa League semi-final clash with Sevilla, Bruno Fernandes, has appealed to his teammates, to have a winning mentality, and understand what it means to win with the club.

According to the midfielder, who has impressed for United since arriving from Sporting Lisbon in January, while winning the Europa League wouldn’t make the season a perfect one, it would be good for the Red Devils to finish with some silverware.

He said, “I think it’s so important to win because every player needs to understand how it is to win a trophy for Manchester United.

“For the coach, it will be important and for the players because I think we’ve done very well until now.

“I think if we finish with a trophy, it will not be perfect, but it will be a good year for us because Manchester United needs to come back again to win some trophies and fight for the European competitions and also the league. Finishing well now is a good start for next season.”

Olé Gunnar Solskjaer himself, has prioritised winning the Europa League this season, so it surely promises to be an interesting next few days.

United will play Sevilla on Sunday, as they look to take an important step toward the final.
