Mason Greenwood has had a phenomenal season for Manchester United, despite being just 18.
The versatile forward has helped the Red Devils achieve both Premier League and Europa League success, with his 17 goals across all competitions, and his teammate, Bruno Fernandes, is confident he only keep getting better.
The Portuguese told the Daily Mirror: “I think Mason has done a great season, of course,.
“He’s young and he has great numbers this season.
“The age is just a number, and you see Mason has done very well. He can do much more because of the qualities he has, and he still has to grow up physically.
“He did fantastically this season and he will get better.
“He needs to play more and get more confidence from his team-mates and the staff and I think he will get much better because he has that quality.”
Fernandes added: “I think we have such good young players, but when you arrive at the first team the age is just a number.
“It’s about mentality and the older ones need to pass the good mentality to the younger ones.”
Greenwood has been tipped by football legends to reach such levels as attained by Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, and judging by the way he’s currently playing, we have to say he’s on course to achieving that.
