According to Spanish media outlet Sport, Manchester United are set renew interest in Barcelona winger Ansu Fati as an alternative to Jadon Sancho.
The Red devils were linked with a move for the player earlier in the year but, according to ESPN, our interest was immediately knocked back by the Catalans.
The 17-year-old winger has a release clause in the region of £150million in his contract, which would make him a more expensive option than Sancho.
However, the report from Sport suggests that Fati would end up as a cheaper alternative to Sancho due to the starlet’s lower wage demands at this stage.
Barca are determined to keep hold of the 17-year-old highly-rated starlet and could look to offer him a new contract with a higher release clause.
