After the recent breakdown of talks between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund over the transfer of Jadon Sancho, the Red Devils have reportedly identified another star to take his place.
According to ESPN, United have indicated interest in signing Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele as replacement for Sancho.
Olé Gunnar Solskjaer and United are still keen on Sancho, despite Dortmund’s refusal to let him go for less than £108 million, but will consider a back up plan in case the German club remain stubborn.
The outlet adds that United have already began talks with Barcelona over a possible loan move for Dembele, with an option to buy.
The 23 year old has not enjoyed his time in Spain, as it’s been ridden with injury problems, and is open to a move away.
