Manchester United boss, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer, has given the ‘green light’ for promising teenager, Tahith Chong, to leave the club on loan, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 20 year old forward has made up his mind to seek regular first team football elsewhere, after impressing for United’s Youth team, and his agent says Olé will allow him leave as promised.
Bundesliga side, Werder Bremen, are said to be keen on signing Chong, who made 3 substitute appearances for Solskjaer’s team last season on a loan deal.
If Chong does leave for Bremen, it could be a big plus for him and United, as he’ll be going to a league that’s famed for helping develop and bring out the best in young players.
Chong is highly rated at the club, and the youngster will be aiming to follow the footsteps of Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood, who have made pathway to the first team.
